Day 2 was a very good, but long, day starting with meeting up at 9:45am and getting home around 11:30pm.
We started the day with a a lecture with a professor who taught us about European politics. It was super interesting, and kinda took me back to my AP comparative government days my senior year of high school. We mostly talked about the EU and how that all works, along with Brexit and what that might mean in the future.
Afterwards, we were on our own for lunch before meeting up again at 12:45pm to go on a tour of a media center. This media center is where a lot of news/radio shows/etc. are produced and filmed at. Our tour guide, Christian, wasn't the most confident in his English, so we had a translator with us. But regardless of his small English, he was super entertaining (he's the one with the clown nose). We saw a ton of rooms where the news is filmed in, green screen rooms, rooms for the radio, and expensive cameras.
After the tour, we went to get dinner. We ate at the Avocado Show, which was sooooo good!!! 10/10 recommend. The food was delicious and the aesthetic of the place was beautiful.
After dinner, some of us split up to go home while some of us stayed out. Some of the other exchange students put out meeting up at a bar that night to get to know each other more. So a small group of us went grocery shopping and then to Delirium Monasteries for a beer to hang out before meeting up with the rest of the group and going to meet with the rest of the exchange students. When I got up to order my beer, I came back real quick to grab my ID with the Danish teasing me saying, "you don't get carded in Europe"...oops. Although when I told him I had just turned 21 a few days ago, he said, "oh you probably want to get carded then, don't you?" hahah. So anyways, after Delirium, we went to go meet up with the other exchange students. It took us three bars to get to that wasn't super crowded and could hold a big group of people - about 15-20 of us showed up I think. It was really fun talking with the other exchange students and getting to know them!
